Lady Mariam is the latest artiste crossing from secular music and trying out gospel music with a track titled 'Mpoonya' whose video is already showing on local television stations.

She is known for her hit 'Tindatiine' which more or less introduced her to the music industry. It has not been easy coming up with another track that outshines Tindatiine but has still remained on the music scene though she continues producing her music in Luganda and her local language.

She was recently in Mbarara where she had a thrilling performance that attracted some Zungu's to her for autograph signing but there were issues with the Queen's language. As a way of keeping afloat on the music scene, she has decided to venture into gospel music.
