If you follow the lyrical content of Ugandan music, you will notice that fights and counter attacks are the messages the artistes are riding on implying that if there are no fights then some artists will not sing at all.
It is this very reason that those who don't sing about attack songs like Ragga Dee will have very comical music like Letter O, Monomonov, Kamukube Empeta ebyenda bimwetogote leaving you wondering what he sings about but it is safer this way because you are not likely to get any fights from such music.
Below are some of the tracks in support of the above observation
Wesontinge by Bobi Wine - This was after Zuena had left Bebe Cool who resorted to compose tracks like "Agenze", "Bamugambe" to woe Zuena back. Bobi Wine composed Wesotinge clearly telling him not tackle his marital problems with music but sort it out amicably.
Ability - This is the track that introduced Rabadaba on the music scene in Uganda. This was collaboration between Rabadaba and the Goodlyfe who put together the musical ability and came up with a blockbuster hit but it was a direct attack on Bebe Cool.
Chidula - Another one by the Goodlyfe boys after they had been banned from Angenoir night spot, the boys just ran to studio and composed a song hitting back at the Angenoir management.
Kiwoko - Eighton and Rein are new artists and I have not heard of any track before Kiwoko which is rising up the charts very fast. "Ebyo baaba byentumye nkugambe ebintu bya makage bya makage..yeah from Ntinda straight to Seguku to Nyanama." Eighton and Rein are signed up under the Gagamel Crew headed by Bebe Cool. Now when they say that ebyo Baaba byantumye nkugambe.. it is very clear who is "Baaba'' and who the message is targeting bearing in mind that the Goodlyfe boys have just shifted from Nyanama to Makindye.
Lwaki Onondoola - Sarah Zawedde is the artist behind this track in which she allegedly attacks her former manager/ lover. The two fell out but the manager kept on trailing her leaving her with no choice but to assure him in the Lwaki Onoondola track.
Kasepiki - The very latest by Bebe Cool whose message is very clear as seen from the fans who are commenting on Bebe Cool's wall. The fans insist Kasepiki is the best hit to counter the Goodlyfe boyz. Daniella awuuba Kasepiki Ka Musawo, Zuena awuba Ka Munene and so on implying that Kasepiki is basically a wife who cooks for your at home and these guys have no wives and are spending their valuable time following other people's wives. The statement looks general from the onset, but it is specifically aimed at some boys in the music industry.
