Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone and now Dr. Chameleone has been on Uganda Music scene since 2000 and he is still going strong. He has done collaborations with various local artistes like Jackie Chandiru, Papa Cidy among others.

He has also done collaborations with International artistes like Beenie Man. He chauffered Shaggy the last time he was in Uganda. Jose Chameleone is the PAM Awards Artiste of the Year(2003 and 2004).

'Basiima Ogenze', 'Vumilia' are some of the best tracks by Chamili as some of his fans refer to him. He is married to Daniella Atim and together they have two kids. Jose has another child from his former long time lover, Dorotia.

Jose has equally had nasty accidents before. He one time sleep walked from his hotel room to the floor injuring one of his legs. They also had a scuffle with now city mysterious tycoon Meddie Sentongo in the year 2009, in which he survived death after he was knocked by a car. More Jose Chameleone News
