Born 30 years back Juliana used to sing with Iryn Namubiru but later chose to pursue solo careers citing irreconcilable differences. She did a rendition of Philly Bongoley Lutaaya's 'Diana'. Juliana has one son called Keron though they separated with the father Amon Lukwago.

Juliana is the Pearl of Africa Music Awards artiste of the year 2008 a title she held for two years because PAM Awards only bounced back in 2010. It should also be noted that she was the first female artiste to win this award.

Juliana is a Mutoro but most of her music is done in the Luganda dialect and she is by far and large better than a lot of Baganda artistes when it comes to singing in Luganda.
